SMU -a great experience

Singapore is multicultural, and SMU provides the best infrastructure and faculty for business courses

Course Curriculum :

Course was well rounded around supply chain management. Singapore as a port city thrives on logistics and supply chain and we got a lot of industrial exposure from visiting company workshops like that of Rolls Royce’s assembly line

Exams :

GMAT-670 IELTS-7.5 requirement is GMAT- 600 out of 800 and above for IELTS its 6 out of 10

Placement :

There is no placement opportunities from the university. They host events where company executives come to interact with students and also offer jobs. Additionally you can intern at companies during the course of the programme to get exposure and an employment pass if the company likes you.

Internship :

I have interned at 3 companies and received an average of around S$700 per month as stipend. Companies were Tickled media, Global Eye and DSTNCT

Fees :

40 lakh rupees

Scholarship :

NA

Faculty :

Faculty student ratio is around 1:40. The faculty were graduates from top universities in US, Uk and Europe. Aparna who is the programme manager is very helpful.

Campus Life :

The campus is fabulous, very green and very modern. The buildings are state of the art, the library is amazing and the cafeteria has food options from around the globe for students to choose from. There are endless clubs and the gym facility is also world class. Some of the Olympic medallists train there.

Hostel :

I stayed at an off campus university hostel called Yo Ha it was in Chinatown. Monthly rental was $700/month.
