I choose to study Master’s from Alliance Manchester Business School because of its stellar reputation. My course is ranked as the 27th best post graduate business management degree in the world by QS rankings 2021.This course offers access to many extra-curricular activities to hone practical knowledge of the current dynamic corporate and participating in such an academic program will definitely allow one to sharpen and enhance their skills. It was extraordinary once in a lifetime experience. I cannot give enough justification and stress enough on how important it is to have a global study experience. It was worth every pound I spent. It gave me confidence, personality, a lot to learn and been able to expand my opportunities globally.
Course Curriculum :
The course is quite rigid. Had it been flexible inculcating up to date information and teaching methods it would have been better. However, the seminars kind of made up for this issue but my course was really very rigid.
Exams :
Admission Requirements: 1. pass your latest highest degree with a minimum of 7.00 GPA 2. Pass IELTS with minimum 7; I secured an 8 3. SOP 4.LORs 5. Financial documentation
Placement :
The post-study placements and research opportunities are competitive for international students since a lot of investment is to be made in them, which generally nobody wants to make until and unless the student has a competitive edge and something extraordinary to offer which the locals cannot.
Events :
I was elected as the communication coordinator to conduct activities in the halls of residence and was also a part of various societies. Every single day there is some or the other activity. There has never been a day at UoM where no activity has taken place, it has something to offer to everybody. I myself conducted 35 events in a period of 5 months and participated in sports, dance lesson and quizzed at UoM.
Scholarship :
No. University of Manchester does not provide scholarship.
Faculty :
My faculty has been cooperating, friendly, helpful , motivating and nothing but giving their best to the students. From guiding students for exams, jobs, general life they have been vey understanding and interative.
Hostel :
Yes, it was one of the most gorgeous place I have every lived.
