The overall experience was great

SG
7.5 /10

It's a Russel Group University with majority of the course being taught by well-published Professors rather than assistant professors; it has a modern infrastructure and leading placement opportunities in automotive industries for which I was interested to work for

Course Curriculum :

The course was really updated the case studies though were quite dated; a lot of emphases was given on group projects and assignments which really adds to the cultural exposure one looks for

Exams :

You need SoP; 2 LoR's ( i got LoR from dean and one of the department heads); Transcripts (in Indraprastha University, Delhi you have to visit the main campus in Dwarka to get it, it takes time to get them issued so gatting them early is recommended) No, interviews were conducted, I didn't even came across any Indian student who had to give interview for this particular course

Placement :

There is no specific placement cell in the university organizes job fairs for candidates looking for jobs, most of the companies are from service industries and not FMCG's One has to apply on his/her own by visiting companies websites in his personal time, The careers team just helps to refine the resume and conducts mock interviews if you get an interview call

Events :

The infrastructure of campus as mentioned earlier is quite modern, The university is quite big with more than 8 restaurants within the campus, the commute to the campus from the city center is troublesome as it used to take around 45 mins via bus and 20 mins via cab, Wifi initially is a trouble to connect to as you need to login via Warwick id; but the technical support office located in the main WBS building helps you get through that after that it didn't gave any trouble at all

Fees :

10,000 Pounds

Scholarship :

No, though a wide range of options are available at the universities website, one has to be early to apply to get a scholarship

Faculty :

There was a batch of 120 students in our course; every module had a different faculty member (an expert in that field) the faculty had good working experience and were able to incorporate practical applicability of theories making things more interesting and easy to understand

Hostel :

No, I used to live in a private Student accommodation Study Inn; it's way better than what university offers as the university accommodation is a little cramped and its at least a 15 min walk to the main building from any accommodation building
