School of Engineering and Technology, SPMVV invites applications for admission to the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Programme in various specializations for the academic year.  The seats available for each specialization is 24 seats. The entire Application process is online. It will be done on the basis of AP PGECET examination conducted by the university.

Eligibility

Candidate must have passed the B.E./B.Tech./AMIE Examinations in the respective disciplines with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved category):

  • For Computer Science and Engineering: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or Equivalent.
  • For Digital Electronics and Communication Engineering: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE /AMIETE in Electronics and Communication Engineering (or) Equivalent.
  • For Power Electronics: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (or) Equivalent.
  • For Machine Design: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering (or) Equivalent.
  • Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian National.

Admission Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of AP PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test)

  • The test is of two-hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions. Every correct answer is awarded one mark.
  • The programme will be based on the syllabus of the respective stream of BE/B.Tech. Examination. The detailed syllabus is given on the website. Website also contains the previous test papers.
  • Candidate should be able to secure a minimum of 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking to qualify the AP PGECET. However, you will not require any minimum qualifying marks if you belong to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category.

How To Apply?

The Application has to be submitted through online mode only.

  1. Visit the website to fill in the Application form. 
  2. Enter all the relevant information to log in.
  3. Pay Rs. 600 in case of general category and Rs. 300 in case of SC/ST category through AP ONLINE or Debit / Credit Card. 
  4. Verify all the details filled in the form and click on the “Submit” button.
  5. After submission, Candidate will receive SMS to the registered mobiles and also the copy of the AP PGECET Application Form via mail.

Reservation

Admission to 85% of the available seats shall be reserved in favour of the local areas: Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema. Reservation for SC/ST/BC/PHC and other categories shall be followed as per the rules prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
