The experience was good. It was exciting to study abroad and meet new people from all over the world. Got to know about their culture.

My selection of the University was done based on the English education nations(US, UK,AUS, Canada). I preferred Australia, especially Victoria as it is the education hub of the country. Though it is a bit expensive but comparatively cheaper than other countries. The admission process is hassle free. Chose Deakin as it highly ranked in the World and has got a good stand in Business studies.

Course Curriculum :

The curriculum is completely different as compared with colleges in India. Here you get to choose what subjects you want to study and how many you want to study. You study around 3-4 subjects per trimester where every subject has 3 hours of class every week. Rest of your time you dedicate to assignments and part time work

Exams :

The admission requirements for admission are not too many. One must complete an English Exam (IELTS/PTE) to get a score of minimum 6.5 overall and 6 in each of the modules. Then you need to show that you are financially stable to take care of the fees and your living expenses. Nothing much other than that.

Placement :

There are no placements post study. One needs to look for jobs on their own. There are no placement departments. There is a unit which helps you get your applications fixed when applying for jobs outside.

Events :

There is 24/7 library, sports facilities and spacious classrooms for study. The infrastructure is modern with cafes all around the campus. You can become a club member and participate in their regular events happening now and then. The campus has free WiFi which is fast enough. It is overall a nice campus to explore.

Scholarship :

N/A

Faculty :

The faculty is great. Coming to Australia you'll expect your faculty to be Australian and English but the scenario is completely different. There are professors from all ethnicities. Most of them are Asian but are highly experienced and knowledgeable. They are very kind and helpful in need of assistance.

Hostel :

On campus facility is good, but it is overpriced. It is better to stay outside making it cheaper. One needs to pay for the rent, the electricity, water and gas bills. Other utilities are also to be paid like wifi and cleaning if staying outside. All bill are inclusive when staying on campus.
