I chose DEAKIN due to the course I chose. There was only 2-3 universities which had construction management coursework and Deakin university had construction management(professional) course which intrigued me and also the fees was less compared to group 8 universities which was really too costly.
Course Curriculum :
Course syllabus is excellent and we had research experience.
Exams :
My scores is as follows- PTE- overall score 78 University PTE MINIMUM SCORE 60 or IELTS 6 and above
Placement :
There are job fairs wherein you can interact with many companies and ask them all your queries but no direct placements.
Events :
Campus life also is really good. They have clubs and memberships as well. Also library, sports, gym everything are included in the campus.
Scholarship :
Yes I got 20% fee discount as scholarship since I got more than distinction in Bachelors degree.
Faculty :
Faculty in Deakin university are too good and professional. Also very approachable, if you have any doubts they clarify and also support you.
Hostel :
You have accomodation on campus but you need to book in advance if you want one. There are many houses which can be rented by a group of friends which works better than on campus accommodation.
