Great education and very well known worldwide. Great opportunities for science degrees. Also, the city of Brisbane is excellent to live in, which combined made The University of Queensland a great option to get my degree.
Course Curriculum :
I enjoy the curriculum very much. Most of the courses provided were very well organized in an easy-to-follow way and were very useful, especially lab courses where the practice was the main way to learn the course content.
Exams :
TOEFL exam at my home country to get accepted in the UQ Foundation Year previous my studies at UQ. A score of 70 minimum.
Fees :
Ridiculously expensive for international students 4x more than other students. Other charges such as the penalty for late payment was also not fair at all if the amount of money is being considered.
Examination Structure :
The exam structure changes for all the courses and over the years. It was meant to improve every year based on students suggestions. Most of the courses had a fair exam structure where the content was evaluated equally.
Faculty :
The faculty of science is very well organized and had some events related to my career for all degrees and also events to meet more people with different backgrounds.
