The university is close to my home and is one of the best colleges in Brisbane. It has a very good reputation and is situated in an easy to access part of the city. Easy when lots of friends from high school also attend.
Course Curriculum :
Very in-depth and widespread. Covers everything I need to know and a lot of opportunities to chose electives that interest different people. Opportunity to undertake an honors program in the fourth year which enhances job opportunity and learning.
Internship :
No internship opportunity for my degree only honors program. Some of the other courses offer internship which from what I have heard is highly recommended and compulsory in some instances. It does well for job opportunities.
Fees :
Fees are only required at the beginning of the semester and are around $100. No other charges unless in extra curricular activities or living on campus. Parking is expensive and so is food on campus but that is like most universities.
Examination Structure :
The exams are well structured and always cover the content well. The exams are always in a fair and controlled setting which is good. Not stressful and intimidating in the exam settings. Usually well spaced out.
Faculty :
The faculty is small because it's a smaller department but the coordinators are very skilled and good at organizing events and replying to emails. More funding would be preferable.
