Monash University review

C
9.2 /10

Want to be a teacher after graduation and Monash is one of the highest ranking universities in Victoria. Schools are more likely to take applicants that came from Monash due to their reputation and good teaching.

Course Curriculum :

It's great! The professors are very dedicated and enthusiastic which makes you want to try hard and really get involved in the curriculum. The university is quite different from others as it really looks after you and making sure you're on track with everything with constant calls from help services asking how the process is going and if I'm okay. They offer a lot of social support as well- there's a lot of clubs that students are able to join which enables students to make friends. The cafes are really reasonably priced as well.

Exams :

You don't need to take any for education it's only different types of essays and assignments. So I did not need to take any SAT's, ACT's, IELTS, GRE's only assignments and essays which were challenging enough due to the word count and critical thinking needed to be considered.

Fees :

It's all under HECS for me so I only have to pay once I start earning over a threshold but the fees were generally pretty low around $6000 a year.

Examination Structure :

I wouldn't know for my faculty as we don't partake in exams. You don't need to take any for education it's only different types of essays and assignments. So I did not need to take any SAT's, ACT's, IELTS, GRE's only assignments and essays which were challenging enough due to the word count and critical thinking needed to be considered.

Faculty :

Really great professors who just love their jobs and bring that type of attitude to every true and lecture. They really care about the individual and their wellbeing as they send out reminders of due dates and ask if anyone needs any extra help or any extra resources.
