Average tuition with good education

It is one of the oldest & best colleges in Downtown Toronto. As it is Downtown the Part-time & full-time Job opportunities are also ample.

Course Curriculum :

My course is very practical and hands on. The teachers are all industry professionals and hence the lectures are in the evening at around 6 on weekdays and in morning during weekends. It definitely prepares you for industry entry level.

Exams :

College Minimum Requirements: IELTS (Academic) 6.0, minimum 5.5 in each skill band. My scores: IELTS Academic - 7.5 - Listening: 8.5, Reading: 7.5, Writing: 7, Speaking: 7

Placement :

As the college is located in Downtown Toronto a lot of the companies have good affiliations and regularly seem to hire from college, the course is taught by industry professionals so they contribute a bit to placement as well. The college's placement cell is also proficient. All in all good opportunities.

Internship :

I have opted for a Coop , I am still waiting for my approval, it is generally paid and only 60% of students get a Coop, so its important to be at top of your academics and learn your course thoroughly to pass your coop interview.

Events :

There are ample opportunities in terms of extracurricular activities. The fastest way to get started is to get in touch with Student Association of GBC, we have everything from workshops to Social work campaigns. (things are all closed now due to covid, but we have virtual sessions of various things like nutrition, mental health etc.)

Fees :

Fees - 16,500 - 17,000 CAD / Year + 500 CAD for Coop Cost of Living: (Food + Rent + Mobile Bill + Miscellaneous) Lower end - 150 + 350 + 40 + 50 CAD Higher end - 200 + 750 + 70 + 100 CAD

Scholarship :

I have not received any Scholarships. However, there are some scholarships available based on your background and your academics in GBC.

Faculty :

We have 8 courses in one semester and have one Faculty assigned to each course. The teachers are all industry professionals and are currently working in the industry.

Hostel :

On campus housing can be expensive and they are currently suspended due to Covid. Off campus housing is good and can range from 350 - 500 CAD on sharing basis & 500 - 1000 CAD for a personal room
