Life of a Sheridan student

Because I have heard a lot about this college in India. Then my relatives told me about this college. I had also applied to Fanshawe college London but I was denied because I have no maths background in my 12th grade. I have searched on google about the courses based on science then I found this.

Course Curriculum :

All the faculty members are really good. There are many clubs in college which organize different kinds of activities in college and the teaching methods used by our college is best they never want u to cram things rather they focus on teaching you the basics and clear the concepts.

Exams :

When I got a conditional offer letter from this college I was supposed to get 60+marks in each subject in 12grade to get an unconditional letter. Then I had to get 6 bands overall and in each module. I got 82%in 12th grade and 7.5 bands in IELTS so I got admission to this college. It was not that tough for me.

Placement :

Our college organizes job fairs which help students to get a job in their fields. I have also attended a job fair last year but I was not able to get the job then because I was just a first-year student but I talked to my seniors one of them was hired by a company and his pay is way more than minimum wage in Ontario.

Internship :

Some courses offer internships but some not. the course I choose does not offer any internship but I also have my cousins studying in the same college one of them has an internship in his studies and it does work because you get experience.

Fees :

I don't know much about this but I know that our college offer scholarships to international students I tried to fill that form but it has some conditions that I was not able to satisfy so I have not applied for that but many others students who are able to apply for scholarship get help in their academic fee.

Hostel :

I actually live off campus because it is way cheaper than an on-campus residence. I rented a basement near Sheridan it's about 1.5kilometer away from my college but I took the bus during snow and rainy days.
