My college experience

8.8 /10

I applied to 3 colleges and I had my parents support me through all of it, in grade 12 my marks were in the high 80s, it was a long journey but I finally am doing what I wanted to do. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do because I didn't want to do something that I wouldn't be happy with. I wanted to do co-op in high school to figure out where I belong which I didn't but definitely my advice to other is that course really helps you out to figure where you want to be and what you want to do in the future.

Course Curriculum :

It's very easy for me, of course, everyone learns differently. I like hands-on activities and this isn't very hands-on but I learn something new every day.

Exams :

I got in with around an 80% average, at first I wasn't sure if this is what I want to do but then I talked to my peers and people who've already done the program to help me what I need to do if I have doubts or if this is the right choice for me. They told all about it which got me more interested cause I was always interested in doing something business-related, however I wasn't sure what was right for me and I didn't want to make the wrong choice which would affect me.

Internship :

Yes, they do they have a variety of options offered. I've been told schedules are flexible and you get a new experience every day. The teaching is definitely different from high school so it?s a big change and affect my learning, however, I strive to do my best and want. They offer many jobs as well which is good because you get the experience.

Fees :

I wasn't awarded any scholarship, and I didn't avail any loan. It was an option for me once but I didn't meet the deadlines however that didn't affect any decision I made. But if I would've met the deadlines it would've been easier for me. They're also scholarships available for international applicants.

Examination Structure :

I'm in my first year so definitely looking forward to a flexible schedule and working hard.

Faculty :

It's my first year so far I'm enjoying everything so far and the advice I got from other people and they definitely love it too. It can be a bit stressful at times but as long as we work hard we get through it eventually. I'm looking forward to it.
