I opted for this university because are the only university in Manitoba with a medical school. I am planning to go into the field of medicine and it will be an advantage for me to do my undergraduate courses from the same university.
Course Curriculum :
It's reasonable sometimes. I do have a course I'm taking right now which has 20 chapters. It's kind of impossible to prepare for finals when a person is taking many courses together and each has 20-30 chapters each.
Exams :
I haven't taken any exams yet but I will be taking MCAT which is required to get into any medical school in Canada.
Internship :
I guess, they do but I'm not taking classes on campus. I am doing online courses at the moment so I haven't looked into the option. Once I'm on campus ill be sure to check out all the available opportunities.
Fees :
Overall it depends on the faculty and the number of courses one takes. The fees are definitely higher than other universities because it is a highly reputable university and many people try to get in.
Examination Structure :
Exam week is really tight. there is only one week to write finals and I am taking four courses and each of them has a lab. for myself, I have to write eight finals in five days and its a lot to manage.
Faculty :
They are very helpful. I could go uptown them and ask about anything and if they are not the right department. They will point me in the right direction.
