It was close enough to home but not directly right in my hometown. I had gone away to a university further and I did not enjoy my experience. I changed programs and ended up being extremely happy with what I'm doing now.
Course Curriculum :
While I am having a much better experience at this college in comparison to my last one, I still think there are changes that should be made. On a positive note, I am learning a lot more than I was at my last school. This is actually useful information I will use post-graduation.
Fees :
In terms of tuition, all of my fees were covered by loans and bursaries covered by OSAP. Although, you can track your fee structure easily on your student account which I like.
Examination Structure :
The exam structure is your typical multiple choice or multiple choice and short answer depending on the class. I personally do not prefer a multiple choice examination as not everyone's skill set is suited to those kinds of exams.
Faculty :
I would say in most cases faculty can always be hit or miss. In most cases at my college, they are great. At my last college, it did not seem as if any of the professors even cared about who you are. At this school, they genuinely care about your progress and well being.
