Likes

My department had a lack of professors, but the syllabus that we went through was the best for enhancing practical skills in the real world.
College gave me the opportunity to do an internship with Infosys, which made it a great institution itself.
When we consider the college from a placement perspective, it is the best in terms of course fees.
To the best of my knowledge, colleges give scholarships to reserved classes and also to students who come here through state counseling.
Campus life is good; people from almost all of India come here, just like me from Chandigarh. Mostly, the students are residents of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal.
College life without a hostel is incomplete because while college gives us friends, it is the hostel that gives us the best friends.
It is the best college and provides the best environment to study and enjoy college life. The faculty is good and provides almost 100% placement.

Dislike

We are still reading the outdated technologies. It is very sad to admit that no one is bothered about this.
It is very bad that loans or scholarships are only available for students belonging to Punjab region, Chandigarh region, or Lashmir region. There are no scholarships available for students from other states.
The hostel fee is excessively high and the facilities provided to us are extremely poor.
Talking about negative remarks, the only downside is that if you feel hungry at 2 am, there wont be a night canteen available. At most, you can have something until 11 pm.

The exciting life of CEC Landran

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visit the campus for placements are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Wipro etc. The no. Of offers made during the placement season around 400. The highest package offered was 45.5 lakhs and the average package is around 7 lakhs. Around 60-70% of students get a placement at the college. My plan is to get into Amazon as SDE 1 and be there in the field for my whole life.

Remarks:

The admission process is quite simple. The student should have 75% marks in 12th boards or equivalent. The students can apply through the online method or can come to college to take admission. Also, students can apply through PTU counselling. The application fee is 11000. The EWS students coming through PTU counselling avail of a fee waiver. I don't seek any improvement in the admission process. It is quite simple and easy to do.

Review of Chandigarh Engineering college for btech in computer science

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. companies visit Amazon, Microsoft, Google, TCS, Nokia, etc. 8000+ offers are made every year. The highest package of this college is 45.5lpa. An average package is 5 LPA. 95% of the student is placed. After my degree, I want to work in a good company.

Remarks:

Eligibility of this course in this is you have qualified 12th exam with 75 % marks. The application form is available on the official website. No application fee for direct admission without an entrance exam. All is good.

Nice college

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good that is CGC provides 100% placements. Placements season starts in 3rd year in BTech and almost every student gets placed by his/her 6th semester. Companies visiting our college are Google, jp morgan, Deloitte, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more companies visit to recruit us The highest package of this year was 44 lakhs per annum and the average is 7-8 Lakhs per annum. Almost 100% of placements are there so every student gets placed except the one who wants to pursue higher education or is already in a startup. My plans after getting the degree are to get a job in big companies like Google, and Microsoft, and become a software engineer.

Remarks:

Direct admission after 12th or diploma. Application forms can be found on the official website of CGC Landran college. Not opted for reservation benefits but there are some. A concession should be provided for JEE good rank holders.

If you haven't seen this than what u have seen

Placement Experience:

College placements are good, mostly all get placements in the CSE department. The highest package is around 45 lakhs per anum and if we talk about the average package it is 6 lakhs per anum and at the end who didn't place are placed by mass recruiters

Remarks:

For CSE your percentage should be greater than 70% but do not worry if you don't have 70% or more than this you can directly get admission if you pay your whole fee at a time i.e. during the time of admission

Chandigarh engeneering college review

Placement Experience:

Currently i. In the 5th semester. So i don't know much about placements but as far i have came to know placements are that much good but if you give some effort than you can get it . So not only focus on college placement.

Remarks:

Addmission is based on 12th basis. So it was easy getting in the college. You can contact college addmission cell through website contact. You have to submit 1000 form fee and 10000 additional after it.

Cgc is best to study and best college for placement with a reasonable fee.

Placement Experience:

Placement records of GCC are always at the peak, especially at the land ran campus. Almost 85% of the students get campus Placements from this college. Very big and reputed companies like Microsoft, amazon, dell, etc arrive on campus for hiring students. Package has also gone to 20 lakh at certain courses

Remarks:

.I chose the BTech course as I was a nonmedical student. We can easily find application forms online and offline. As I want to see the campus so I fill the form offline. You can go to admission block (block2) where u can find the application form. The admission process is very good

Be a Good Engineer, rather than a engineer

Placement Experience:

From the very 5th semester, placements start with various pronoun companies with various offers come like google Microsoft, zeolite, TCS, Mahindra, IBM and various more. The highest package this yr was 45.5 lakh and the average package is 8 lakh per annum. The placement percentage is 90% as various students also opt for higher studies. My plan is also to opt for M.Tech for which faculties are supportive.

Remarks:

Students should have passed 12th with more than 75% marks to be eligible for admission here. Students should also have cleared jee mains if admission is taken through PTU counseling. The application form can be found on the clg website itself. All the information regarding the application fee, college fees, and application dates is provided there. The admission process was very seamless...but more students can be filtered to take admission.
