Through the courses, the institute plans to provide necessary theoretical and new perspective knowledge to the students to acquire an AME License, issued by DGCA. 

These courses offer to its students through theoretical and practical knowledge of Aircraft structure & Aero engines. Selection Criteria

The institute of aircraft maintenance engineering offers 2 courses for aspirants to pursue. The admissions will be based on entrance test score and qualifying marks in 10/ +2. 

Procedures for admission:

If an aspirant wishes to apply to a particular course and take admission at the institute they are offered two methods through which they may do that. They are as follows:

AME CET:

  • AME Common entrance test (CET) is an entrance test conducted by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India. It allows candidates with admissions into aviation and aircraft maintenance courses.
  • The applicants who apply to this course must have selected PCM in 10/+2 and passed the exam / cleared a 3-year engineering diploma program with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects.
  • The exam will be conducted both in online and offline mode and, it consists of 90 MCQs. The exam is of a duration of 1 and a half hours. The exam's syllabus includes Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, English, General Awareness, and Aptitude.
  • Based on the marks scored in this exam, candidates will be requested to appear for counselling and further procedure. A merit list will be created out of the selected candidates and displayed on the official website.

Management quota:

Candidates coming under the categories listed below may apply through management quota and these students will be selected based on the score from the previous qualifying exam.

Intake:
