College Placement - The College Placement In IEM is The Best in Eastern india in BCA
Institute of engineering management one of the best college in Kolkata.
The best thing is the discipline that you learn from this college.
Placement record good in cse for this reason every student placed in reputed company
Venture oppurtunities and quite a good acess to fund your projects
It teaches us a very good way to handle pressure in a very unique and efficient way.
What I liked is they have uniform which is compulsory so I don't have to wear and wash 5 clothes per week.

Dislike

The only problem is that there is no campus life, being it a too small campus.
Yes, if you have potential, you would land in a much better place than on-campus placements and internships.
There is also a tuition fee waiver plan for poor students, in which their tuition fees are around 5k each semester.
Labs are very small and poorly equipped. Practicals are conducted in groups of 5-6 students per machine/equipment.
Students only get there because initially they have nowhere to go, but after the authorities impose a one-year restriction, they escape as quickly as possible.
My college has a very bad policy where if a student does not attend at least 80% of the classes, the management does not allow them to appear for the exams.

The most Affordable yet best college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I saw a lot of students getting good placement from the CSE branch in UEM-J, I am very keen to learn programming and development but unfortunately, I didn't get enough good marks in my JEE exam to get into the CSE branch in a government college, so I chose this college to get a CSE degree. Regarding the ratio of faculty and students, I can say the professor taught us every 40 to 50 students in a section. Every teacher was a Ph.D. holder, and they have good techniques for teaching. every 2 months, there was a mid-term exam, Exam was not too hard but nor too easy. If you are an average student you can easily pass every exam and even get good marks.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Remarks:

To get into the UEM-J in B.Tech CSE, you should have at least 60% in your 12th or diploma, No need to give any entrance exam. You could get the application form from the college itself or visit the official site of UEM-J: www.uemj.edu.in College gives some reservations to students from Nepal, Bangladesh, and African counties. The admission process is quite good enough, don't need improvements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love this field and also my family suggested this to take. The faculty-student ratio I don't know the correct but faculties are enough. Faculties are well educated and Teaching methods are also good. Three two internal exams and one-semester exam. And passing the exam is more or less difficult also.

Class Size : 190Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course is to pass HS with pure science or bioscience. And one has to crack the IEM-CET exam. The application form is released from the MAKUT website. Application is generally released in June. There are also some reservations.
