What students say about Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology - [PSIT]

Likes

  • The library facility : The library facility is awesome as they also provide access to renowned online library.
  • The best thing of Pranveer Singh institute of technology is it's infrastructure and facilities.
  • The infrastructure is excellent and facilities provided by institute are just mind blowing
  • The cafe of the collage 2004 is best for all students and as well as the professors
  • Its infrastructure the best infrastructure in the Kanpur among all the colleges
  • The classrooms are well equipped with all the best edtech capabilities
  • So the placement rate of the college is very good they almost provide 90% of the students got placed in on campus.

Dislike

  • Its very sad that students are not upgraded in skill sets and therefore end up with offers for low-skilled jobs, almost like manual labor.
  • I see one drawback: the students have to pay the whole fee at once. We cant pay in installments. I dont like only this aspect.
  • The hostel infrastructure is good, and the laundry system is also good, but the food quality provided in the mess is very bad.
  • I would like to mention one bad thing about this college: they charge a huge amount of money in the form of fines, which has a very negative impact on the college.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for placement drives. Various companies came to campus like HCL, TATA POWER, NESTLE, ANZ Bank, etc. The highest package in MBA is 10 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. As of this year currently, 80% of students are placed in MBA, 4th semester is ongoing. By the way, PSIT has had 100% placement records in the past.

Remarks:

Eligibility for MBA courses is 60% overall including (10+2) and Graduation from any field. No, the admission process was hassle-free and smooth. On the first day, you have to give seat locking money, the second visit includes GD/PI then selection and after that fee submission.

Placement Experience:

After completing 2 sem, students can sit for placement drive but they only join after 3rd sem exams. Flipkart, innovat, reliance, byjus, policy bazaar, 99acres, Anz, etc. Most companies come for sales and marketing profiles. 12lac was the highest package for sales profile. Students have to maintain at least 60% for attending the placement drive. If I am talking about me so, I got placed through college in innodata India Pvt, Ltd. as a senior associate and I am growing in my career.

Remarks:

Eligibility of the course is you have done bachelor degrees (b.com/BBA/B.tech) and you have to opt for the entrance exams for the MBA program ex:- cat, mat, cmat, state vise entrance exam. I visited the college for information regarding admission process fees, and eligibility criteria. but you can also call them about the application's last date and date of admission. It was an easy and simple process, they took a PI, and instantly they declared the results. They didn't provide any reservation details but we can get the scholarship according to the government.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from 2nd semester and there are many companies that come and provide job opportunities during the placement drives. Also, PSIT is well-reputed in terms of placements. 95% of students get placed in different companies at the end of the course which is a big achievement. The students are placed in higher positions like Managers, Assistant Managers, and HR managers. The average package ranges between 15-25 lakhs per year I am also looking forward to getting a job during the placement drive in the institute itself.

Remarks:

There is a direct admission process. You can directly contact the institute and they will provide the details. The basic requirements include 60% in intermediate and graduation completed with 50% marks. Also, they take a small interview to judge speaking skills and Comparability in English.
