Saroj Institute of Technology and Management B.Tech and B.Pharm. Eligibility 

To be eligible for the B.Tech/B.Pharm. program, the candidates must have passed intermediate examination of UP Board or 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board or university securing:

(i) 45% (40% for Sc/ST) marks in total of required subject combination (compulsory & optional) and

(ii) 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in each compulsory and optional subject of this combination.

Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry

Candidates must have passed 3-years Diploma in Engineering course securing 60% marks in aggregate or 3-years B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as compulsory subject with 60% marks in aggregate and 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in Mathematics to be eligible for B.Tech Lateral entry.

Candidates must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with 60% marks in aggregate to apply for B.Pharma. Lateral Entry.

Saroj Institute of Technology and Management B.Tech Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for admissions to B.Tech courses is as follows:

  • Candidates are required to appear in the UPSEE entrance exam. 
  • Candidates need to obtain a valid score in this exam.
  • On the basis of performance in the entrance exam, a merit list will be announced.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in the UPSEE Counselling process.
  • During this counselling, candidates have to register online, upload their documents and pay the counselling fee. 
  • Upon successful document verification, candidates will receive and OTP for choice filling.
  • Candidates need to fill maximum choice of course and college (SITM) as per their preference.
  • On the basis of choices filled, merit secured and availability of seats, candidates will be allotted a seat.
  • Students need to select either of the options from Freeze, Float or Withdrawal.
  • After this selection, candidates need to report at the allotted college along with their documents for further admission formalities.
