What students say about Sona College of Technology

Likes

  • I havent been to college. Ive attended a foundational course where the faculty were good. There were 20 girls and 40 boys. All the teachers are qualified with PHDs.
  • In a project team, tasks should be distributed across our software team in order to plan, track, and release high-quality output.
  • Placements are good, and the organization is attracting great companies that are improving both the careers of students as well as the colleges reputation.
  • They provide a good scholarship/loan facility offered by your college that you know of or have availed.
  • The campus infrastructure is very pleasant and ideal for students learning. It resembles a park-like structure with lots of greenery and a friendly environment. Our college also has a huge library and canteens with the best food available anytime. It is the best place for students to learn and find peace.
  • In our college, they provide a very good hostel for girls and a good one for boys. They have some time restrictions for food and in-out time. The water they provide for bathing is recycled water. According to the fee, the hostel is good.
  • The college has good management, so please continue and bring glory to the lives of many students.

Dislike

  • They also offer scholarships to poor and middle-class individuals who are unable to pay the fee.
  • No, you have to apply at the office before you can get admission. Application forms will be given in the college offline. I received approximately 60 thousand reservation benefits.

Placement Experience:

The training for the placements starts right from your 5th or 6th semester and they are so helpful in getting students placed. The number of companies recruiting is huge but again this depends on the departments you prefer or choose. In general, IT and CSE departments will have an ample number of opportunities when compared to other departments.

Remarks:

The admission process was good but it wasn't a cakewalk, I didn't take any entrance exams. Entered the college through counseling with a cutoff of 145.5. The application process took one long day and travel was a bit difficult to complete the procedures throughout.

Remarks:

I didn't take any entrance exam at my college and I was selected based on the marks I scored, they also had reservation benefits based on my marks. The entrance exam may improve to avail seats for everyone with talent.
