Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Information Technology) From AIMT, Lucknow

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

1.Through UPTAC

• 85% of the lntake seats available in B.Tech. will be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P. & who has Qualified UPTAC and is allotted Ambalika Institute of Management & Technology (Code-363) after Counseling.
• Qualified candidates, who have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates ) without grace in each compulsory subject as Physics, Maths and one optional subject as Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject.
• lf the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of verification of document on certificate 3

2. Through Direct Admission under Management Quota/ Vacant Seats after counseling of UPTAC

Qualification criteria

For admission to the first year of B. Tech. candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in required subject combination (two compulsory & one optional) taken together. The candidate is essentially required to pass without any grace marks (as per respective Board/University) in each subject of the subject group (As per rule)

Entrance Exam:

The 15% seats in the institute shall be filled by the candidates under management quota as per eligibility criteria.  The vacant seats in Management quota or vacant seats after counseling of UPTAC shall be filled strictly in following preference order, within fifteen days of the last date of counseling:

1. By the qualified candidates of UPTAC, fulfill the eligibility as per eligibility criteria. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPTAC.

2. By the qualified candidates of JEE (Main)-2019 fulfilling the eligibility as per clause of eligibility criteria for B. Tech.

3.By the merit of candidates based on total marks in a subject combination of the qualifying examination.
