Established in the year 1994, Diphu B.Ed College is affiliated to the Assam University, Silchar. It has attained recognition from N.C.T.E. (National Council for Teacher Education). The college specializes in offering degree in Bachelors of Education (B.Ed). It is a full-time course covered in two academic years. The admission to B.Ed. is conducted on the basis of entrance examination held every year.

The college has commenced admissions and is inviting applications for entrance exams from the eligible candidates.

The candidates having 50% marks and above at graduate or post graduate level can apply for entrance examination. SC, ST and OBC candidates need 45% and above to sit in the entrance.

The selection of candidates depends on their merit score in the entrance exam or marks secured in other qualifying examination from a recognized university. The college may also provide admissions to candidates based on any other procedure laid down by the university/state government or Union Territory administration.
