Shri IJ Patel B.Ed. College, Gujarat was established in 2000 and Running under the sponsorship of Charotar Education Society, which was formed in 1916. The College got the proud distinction of being the first self-financed college of Gujarat state. It is affiliated to Sardar Patel University - [SPU]. It is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E.). It offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with 100 intake.
