Smt Savithri College of Education, Trichy was established in 2005 and is running under the Sri Sankara Educational & Charitable Trust. It is located on NH 45 at Sannasipatti near Chathirapatti. The college offer Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. It is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU) and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
