There are some excellent professors, some average and mostly good enough professors in the faculty of the institute. Most professors are very humble and help the students in educational, research, and other purposes too. The campus of CGC Landran is large. There are separate blocks for every branch inside the campus. Grounds for Cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, badminton, etc, are also available inside the campus. CGC Landran is one of the best colleges in terms of placement under PTU. Most MNCs visit the campus for placement. Students are offered jobs according to their own capabilities, and with a good average placement package. The highest package offered in CGC is also very good and is seen to increase with consecutive years. Apart from placement, CGC Landran has a picturesque campus, a large campus having different blocks for different branches. There is outdoor football, volleyball and badminton courts as well. There are numerous companies that come to visit CGC Landran around the time of campus placements. Branch-wise, when you consider CSE and ECE, you will notice that more than 50 different companies visit the college. Some of the major and popular ones include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Flipkart. Keep in mind that these companies will offer really great packages but select a handful of lucky students only. A few other companies like Wipro also visit the college that will recruit almost an entire batch of students looking for jobs, however, this is probably not something great as they focus on mass recruitment. TCS and Wipro are the companies where a maximum number of students are placed. They offer decent packages. You can expect to have a high package of INR 35 LPA and an average salary between INR 3 to 4 LPA. From my knowledge, the packages for other streams are somewhat similar.

Product-based - These are the companies that hire at pretty impressive packages i.e more than 10 LPA to name a few companies which visited the CGC campus in recent year were Amazon, HP, Google, etc. Service-based - These are the companies (mass recruiters) that hire in bulk offering packages about 3–4 LPA. Most of the students get jobs in service-based companies. Yes, CGC Landran is a good choice but there is no other college to compare with. CGC Landran is a college that focuses mainly on the computer science branch rather than the mechanical branch. As a college, in terms of placement and campus life, CGC is a perfect choice. The only disadvantage found in the college is the hostel’s food that does not taste good. I have a few friends at CGC and I heard good things about the institute from them. It is well-known for offering good placements and a decent academic environment. CGC conducts prior pre-placement training, where you will be taught how to handle interviews for the recruiting companies. Companies that approach the institutes, come along with their own personal criteria. Many companies set the required score range of 60%, 70% or even 80%. Major recruiters at the placement drive are Amazon, Wipro, Microsoft, Cognizant, HCL, Deloitte, IBM, Maruti, Hyundai, etc. The highest CTC offered to the students according to the recent placement statistics is 35 LPA. If you are want to secure a placement offer, try to master at least one computer language program. The competition gets intense when the number of students is 250+. Students received 8500+ placement offers which is more than 28.5% higher as compared to the previous year.

The placement percentage of this college is 95% . The lowest package of placement is 7 Lakhs per annum and the highest package is 55 lakhs per annum. The student required 80% to sit in the placement drive and 90% for every company.

The college can provide internship in 6th sem most probably and the companies which came in college for internship program is Mahindra , Adobe , Wipro , Byjuse and many more. In college their is a RISE Department under which you can perform different projects and paitent your ideas.
