MAM School of Architecture B.Arch Admissions 2023

MAM School of Architecture offers five years Bachelor’s degree course in Architecture. The minimum eligibility is 45 % marks in 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Candidates having 10+3 Diploma in any stream from a recognized institute are also eligible. Out of the total seats, 65% seats belong to the Government Quota and are filled through NATA entrance exam. Applicants must have scored a minimum of 80 marks out of 200.

Admission to the Government Quota seats are done through counselling (TNEA) conducted by the Anna University.

No direct lateral admission is allowed in B.Arch. course based on any qualification.
NATA score will be valid for a period of two years from the year in which a student appeared.

MAM School of Architecture Application Process

Candidates aspiring for admission to 5-year B.Arch degree course at MAM School of Architecture have to apply for TNEA 2021 for admission to Government quota seats. Candidates can obtain the application forms for TNEA either online (on the official website) or offline (in person or through the post).

Application form in person can be obtained from Anna University or its centres by paying the fee of INR 500 (general candidates) and Rs. 250/- (reserved candidates) through cash or DD.
Through post application forms can also be obtained from "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai-600025" by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft of INR 700 (INR 450 for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).

The application form for TNEA can also be filled online. For online application, candidates have to follow the following steps to complete the application process:

Go to website www.tnea.ac.in and fill the application form.
Application fee can be paid through both online and offline mode.
In online mode, candidates have to pay INR 500 (INR 250 for reserbed category).
In offline mode, they have to pay INR 700 ((INR 450 for reserbed category).

Reservation

Only native candidates of Tamil Nadu can avail the benefits of communal reservation. Candidates applying must have done Class 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th from an institute located in Tamil Nadu.

However, if a candidate belongs to Tamil Nadu but has passed above-mentioned classes in any other states such candidates are required to produce a “Nativity Certificate" during the counselling process.
Community Certificates issued by the authorities of other states will not be considered for communal reservation.

Admission to Government quota seats of B.Arch course will be according to the guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Reservation is provided to candidates from various BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST.
