The Mechanical branch has most of the faculty from IIT and reputed colleges. The teaching is always the best, far from any NITs. Most of the facultys examination papers are selected for Nagpur University as well as for Gondwana University.
For mining engineering, vocational training is available in the mine, and a certificate is also provided for that training. Many projects are undertaken by both staff and students in the college.
Placements for mining are the best as mining has the highest package every year. Placements for all the branches are good, but it depends on the performance of the student and their activeness.
A lot of us avail good scholarships from the college; the department is more helpful in these matters, helping us fill out the form without charging us.
The college has maintained very good law and order for any type of rule violation, tolerance, or diversity.
The food is also good, not as homely, but you cant find food everywhere like your home. I also want to give it 5 out of 3.5.
College is the best time of ones life. My college has given me a lot of things: knowledge, friends, and seniors.

Dislike

In a week, you have 4 practical labs, but it doesnt make any difference because your syllabus will remain incomplete. Moreover, the students lack interest due to poor teaching methods and just attend classes for attendance.
The college provides an internship, but it doesnt even encourage internships during the educational four years.
The sex ratio is horrible in core branches, but it is fair enough in CS and IT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from final year 7th sem onwards they are eligible for placement vendata Pvt limited GOA, last time package was 160000. no of students getting a job according to their field. in my field 4 to 5 to get a job in Gov as Mining Engineering

Remarks:

I give an Entrance exam in JEE MAINS and I score 42 marks. It depends upon the course which course you have to take. I want to take the mining Engineering Field so I scored that many marks because according to my category OBC the cutoff was 65 in mining Engineering. I was selected in 3rd round. it's so important to give the Entrance Exam.
