Candidate should have passed 10+2 from any recognized board with Medical subjects.
Candidate should be selected through Punjab Medical Entrance test (PMET) conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot for 85% of the seats. The remaining 15% of seats are filled through All India Medical Entrance Examination conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi.
The reservation of seats for scheduled castes/tribes and other backward classes are made according to state government guidelines. The course structure and content is set as per the guidelines laid down by the Dental Council of India. Each student will get stipend/scholarship of Rs 9000/- month during internship for a period of 12 months.
