What students say about K.C. Das Commerce College

Likes

  • Speaking about the faculty, they were so good, so welcoming, and so friendly that no student ever had any complaints about them.
  • The college has many more things to offer: the festivals, the library, the faculty, the environment, the students??verything here is just filled with a good vibe.
  • The placement is not very good as the college focuses solely on studies and imparting knowledge to students. Therefore, if a student scores well and possesses great knowledge, the college does not need to worry about ensuring good placement, as good marks and knowledge will naturally lead to job opportunities.
  • One good scholarship provided by the government of Assam is the Ishan Uday scholarship, which is available for all colleges.
  • The social life in our college is very good; moreover, the environment provided in the college is also very good.
  • Although I dont reside in the hostel, my peers say that the hostel is very good, providing comfort, spaciousness, and a very good study environment.
  • The college is very good for studies and provides a good scope for growth and development.

Dislike

  • Because they are to be successful, they must be different from other students out there.
  • KC Das Commerce College does not provide job placements for the Bachelor of Commerce course, but it does provide job placements for other courses. No, our college does not offer internships.
  • No, no such service is listed by the college, as the prices of studies are very low, so no one will need any such facility in college.
  • This is one of the most disappointing topics I am frustrated with in my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because this course makes students well-prepared for the corporate world and entrepreneurship, business, and finance. Faculty to student ratio of this college is approx. 1:20. Degrees like Ph.D., Masters, BEd, and many more holded by the faculty. Some teachers were friendly and some strict, but they helps students to solve their doubts. Exams are held every semester. It was not very difficult for me to pass.

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course is, students must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent from a recognized board. We can find the application form, application fees, and application dates on the college website. The admission process at this college is pretty good.

Placement Experience:

Just as I said earlier, campus placements aren't much talked about merely because not many good companies are coming here. Every student has to make his own future plans regarding employability. Many of them are already pursuing CA, CS, and CFA. Some are preparing for govt job exams and some for CAT.

Remarks:

There wasn't any extra selection process. You have to be 12 passes, meeting the cut off which is around 80%+ in the first merit list. And goes down to 68% with additional merit lists coming up. All the details about the course and admission process are provided in the college website notification panel, https://www.kcdccollege.ac.in/ Reservation is given on the basis of seat allocation percentage as directed by the government. The admission process is very smooth without much hassle.
