Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship is one of the finest B-Schools in the country if you are looking for tier-2 schools. The Return on investment is what attracts the most. The college may be a bit far from the main city but nevertheless, the infrastructure it has is none less than colleges in the main city. Oragadam, where the college is situated in an industrial area, and getting a live project and Summer internship projects becomes way too easy for the students. I would say all the 3 campuses are equally doing good and Xavier is a big brand. As far as placements are concerned it is doing quite well. Most of the seniors are placed with an average salary of 8.5 LPA and the highest going to 11 LPA so far.
The admission process involved a Written ability test, Group discussion and followed by Personal interview. The panelists had a brief understanding of my profile and gave insights about the course curriculum and other activities that are supported here.
The cutoff for selection was 60% in any of the entrance exams. The application form can only be found on their own website it cost me around rs. 1500 for the application. The best thing about this college is that they don't do this reservation biasedness.
The eligibility criteria for my batch in XIME were : MAT score above 65% 60% in academics (UG 12th and 10th) Good Communication skills Soft skills (added value) The application form can be accessed directly from the website of XIME Chennai. No reservation quota in this college purely mark based
The admission process was smooth and well-structured. The information flow is very smooth as well as the responsiveness. We can directly connect with the Dean and Director of the Institute for clarification and information which shows the organizational culture to be perfect.
