The admission procedure for NIBM Pune has started. NIBM Pune MBA/ PGDM Admission 2021 is based on scores in any of the CMAT, CAT and XAT entrance exams followed by Written Ability Test & Personal Interview. The CAT exam will take place on 28th November, 2021 and XAT exam will be held on 2nd January, 2022. NIBM Pune has a total intake of 120 seats for its PGDM course. The minimum eligibility criteria for online application is that the candidate should have completed their graduation with 50% scores. The expected cutoff for CAT will be 80 and for CMAT and XAT, the cutoff will be around 93-94 percentile.

NIBM Pune Admission 2022: Expected Cutoff for PGDM

The institute formulates its own cutoff which changes every year depending upon the CAT and CMAT score. By looking at past trends the expected cutoff for the exams is as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by any Recognised University.
  • Those who are in their final year or are waiting for their result can also apply but they need to produce a certificate at the time of WAT and PI.
  • A valid Score in CAT/XAT/CMAT. 

NIBM Pune PGDM Selection Process

NIBM Pune provides admission to candidates on the following basis:

  • The institute shortlists students based on the CAT/XAT/CMAT score.
  • The shortlisted applicants are further called for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview round at respective exam centers.
  • The institute will release the list of selected candidates
  • Finally, all the selected students have to confirm the acceptance by sending an email at the official website by remitting Rs. 1,00,000 towards the programme.
  • On the other hand the wait-listed candidates will be offered admission in the order as mentioned in the wait-list in case there is any vacancy arising from the selected candidates.
