DBS College has a placement cell that functions to its utmost capabilities. DBS College Kanpur Facilities

  • Library: The library here at the college is fully computerized and has a great collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and magazines with a seating capacity of 100 students. The college also has separate departmental libraries for each department, that is, 14 departmental libraries. The college also provides its students with the DELNET and INFLIBNET facilities that basically connect their library to a plethora of national and international libraries.
  • Auditorium: The college is also provisioned with a large auditorium with a seating capacity of 800. The sound system here consists of a 12-channel mixer and a studio master. The auditorium is also equipped with digital video projectors that can screen films or presentations whenever needed.
  • First Aid Cell: The college also provides a first-aid facility to the students. In case of emergencies, a van is also provided during college hours to carry the ill to the hospital. At the college, the first aid cell is well-equipped to deal with everyday injuries and illnesses.
  • Research Cell: The college has also designated a research cell that supervises and encourages the teachers and students to take up minor and major projects. The cell aims at encouraging and motivating the faculty to participate actively in researches carried out by PG students that are invested in their project and dissertation as required in their course curriculum. The research cell also aims at increasing the practical knowledge of the students.
  • Common Room: The college also runs a common room wherein the faculty participate to provide counseling to the students. There is also a parent and teacher association to ensure the holistic development of the students.
  • Cafeteria: The college has a cafeteria that can accommodate 100 students at once and aims at serving refreshments to students at controlled rates.
  • Sports: The college has the largest and the most well-maintained sports playground in the city. The surface of the playground is so designed that many sports can be played on it at a time, sports such as cricket, hockey, football. The ground is maintained regularly by the Sports Board.
  • Wi-Fi: The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled so the students are always just one click or one tap away from learning something new. The campus is also fully air-conditioned.
