Ques. How is the electrical branch at NIT Raipur?

● Top Answer By Uzma Zarin on 17 Jul 21

Ans. In comparison to the other options, B.Tech electrical at NIT Raipur is the best. One of my friends studied here. According to him, they have a well maintained electrical department. NIT Raipur has a strong faculty profile and a well-designed course structure. Every year, a large number of companies visited for placement with salary packages ranging from 12 lakhs to 4 lakhs. Because of the good course structure, you can do well in the GATE exam, which is a gateway to higher education. NIT Raipur also organizes various competitions, science exhibitions, robotics workshops, etc. This encourages students to participate and stay involved with it. They offer vocational training and internship opportunities. They may not have a good infrastructure but have an optimistic approach when it comes to academics. NIT Raipur might not be good for students enthusiastic about research studies. Categories Electrical at NIT Raipur Course Fee 5.40 lakh Highest CTC 22 LPA Average CTC 14 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, Phillips, Havells, L&T, etc. After graduating with electrical engineering you can sit for placements for both core and IT companies. Ques. What is the placement scenario at the Nirma University for electrical engineers? Should I prefer it over SRM computer science?

● Top Answer By Oli Kundu on 15 May 21

Ans. Electrical and Computer science is very different from each other and they have very few things similar to each other.  In electrical engineering, the course module includes a lot of physics and classical and applied maths, but in computer science, the course module includes discrete and applied maths and there is no part of physics.  In electrical engineering, there are a lot of theoretical studies of maths and physics but in computer science, there are mostly logical studies and coding. Although at the advanced level, these two branches do marge a bit, they are completely different for beginners.  Here’s a brief overview of the two courses mentioned in the question.  Parameters  EE at Nirma University  CS at SRM Average CTC 6 LPA 6-8 LPA Highest CTC 8 LPA 28 LPA So, you should choose the branch according to your skills and knowledge, rather than choosing a branch, based only on placements. Otherwise, you may have to opt for branch change after 1st year.Read more

Ques. Which is better: IIT Jodhpur electrical or NIT Kurukshetra CSE?

● Top Answer By Vineet Chopra on 19 Apr 21

Ans. The two things that help you choose between new IITs and old NITs (or top NITs) are the Tag Value and the Experience. Better Choice If you like to have a tag of IIT, then choosing IIT Jodhpur is a better option. But if you are comfortable with a good branch in top NITs, then NIT KKR is a better option for the long run, even though you have the option of IIT in your hand. The reason for choosing old NIT over new IIT is that the old NIT will have a well-established alumni base. Even the professors are skilled. Features of the institutes The placements of NIT KKR for CSE are excellent. The highest package of INR 43.31 LPA in NIT KKR went for CSE branch. Even the placement percentage are: Institute Branch Percentage Fees NIT KKR CSE 100% INR 2.27 Lakhs IIT Jodhpur Electrical 84% INR 2.82 Lakhs Overall, the choice depends upon the above-mentioned factors and the branch in which you are interested. In NIT KKR, there is a competitive environment in terms of study. CSE branch is the best to be pursued from NIT Kurukshetra.Read more
