The admission process for PGDCA is very simple. Candidates aspiring to pursue the PGDCA program need not necessarily go through the entrance exams. Most colleges accept admission based on the marks scored in the previous qualifying exam. When the application form is released, the candidates can access them on the official website of the colleges they want to apply for.

PGDCA Admission 2023: Eligibility

The candidates must complete 10+2+3 or an equivalent exam to be eligible for PGDCA admission 2023. The eligibility criteria for PGDCA admission 2023 is given below:

• The candidates must have a minimum of 40-50% marks in graduation from a recognized college. 
• The candidates must have studied Mathematics in their 10+2.
• There is no age limit to apply for a PGDCA course. 

PGDCA Admission 2023: How to Apply?

The basic steps to follow for PGDCA admission are given below:-

• Sort out the colleges/ universities you want to apply to for PGDCA admission.
• Visit the Colleges/ University websites, and check the eligibility criteria, and the admission procedure.
• Fill in the required credentials and upload the required documents, and submit the application form.
• The candidates must score good marks in graduation or its equivalent exam and the entrance examinations (if any).
• The shortlisted candidates must appear in the Personal Interview (PI) round. The final selection is done based on the PI round.
• The candidates must attend counseling and verify their documents, and pay the admission fee.

PGDCA Admission 2023: PI/GD

The final selection of candidates is done on the Personal Interview/ PI and Group Discussion/ GD round conducted after the declaration of merit list. 

• The candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list must attend to PI round. The dates of the PI round will be notified by the colleges. 
• They must try to score well in this round to confirm their selection.
• After successfully going through the PI round, the candidates need to attend the counseling session, very their documents, and pay the admission fee to secure their seats.

PGDCA Admission 2023: Preparation Tips

Admission to the PGDCA course is done both on a merit basis and through entrance exams.

• The candidates must score high marks in graduation. The candidates must also have studied mathematics till class 12th.
• The candidates must appear for the entrance exams if required. 
• Prepare well for the entrance exam, and study the exam pattern and syllabuses.
• Collect the study materials, and select a few reference books that are popular. Referring to numerous books can lead to confusion. 
• Solve previous year’s questions and mock test papers, it will help time management and your weak points.
