BVP CET 2023 Exam Pattern helps candidates to prepare for the Common Entrance Test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth University with ease and clarity. The exam is conducted for all UG and PG courses offered by the university.

  • As per BVP CET 2023 Exam Pattern, the questions are of the multiple-choice type and candidates have to choose the answer from 4 choices.
  • A total of 3 hours are given to candidates and they have to answer 200 questions.
  • Sometimes for some courses like Nursing, the exam is conducted for 100 marks.
  • 1 mark is awarded to the candidate for every right answer and there is no negative marking.

BVP CET 2023 Exam Pattern in Detail

BVP CET 2023  is conducted in an online mode and the candidates are strongly advised to carry a black pen and pencil to mark the answers. The total marks of the exam can vary for each stream and the time duration varies accordingly.

B.Tech Courses

BVP CET 2023 Exam Pattern is common for all types of engineering courses inclusive of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. BVP CET 2023 Marking Scheme

The marking scheme for BVP CET 2023 is generally 1 mark for each correct answer for all exams. The total score of the exam might vary. But the mark allotted for each question is 1 mark. The answer sheet is an Optical Mark Reader.

Marks awarded for Correct Answer – 1 mark

Marks deducted for Incorrect Answer – Nil

If the question is wrong, then the final decision will be taken by the university.

Important Instructions

The instructions given below must be followed by every candidate during the examination:

  • It is important to carry the necessary stationery like a black ballpoint pen, pencil, sharpener and eraser to the exam hall.
  • Candidates are advised to carry two or more sets for safety purposes. Rough sheets of any kind will not be permitted in the exam hall.
  • The invigilator will provide the necessary sheets and collect them at the end of the exam.
  • BVP CET 2023 Admit Card must be carried along with a photo proof.
  • Electronic devices of any kind will not be permitted. Read well into the subject before BVP CET 2023 exam.
  • Candidates should neatly colour the correct answer with a black ballpoint pen or pencil. Avoid using a gel pen.
  • The candidate can lightly circle the correct answer and then colour the answer with the ballpoint pen.
  • Handle the sheet with care and firmness. The sensor in the OMR will scan the sheets based on the coloured value.
  • Avoid smudges and bulges as much as possible to avoid repeat grading and error.
