CG PAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Prior to commencement of online application process, it is necessary to check the eligibility criteria, which are primarily the minimum academic qualifications, residential and age thresholds for candidates to appear for CG PAT 2022. Following are the eligibility criteria:

Residential Criteria

The candidate must be a resident of India
Candidate must have state domicile of Chhattisgarh

Age Limit

Age limit for candidates belonging to General category is 25 years
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories, along with female candidates, must be less than 28 years of age

Academic Qualifications

Aspirants who have passed or those who are currently pursuing 12^th or equivalent examination from Chhattisgarh board or any recognized board within India.
Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects in 12^th class
General category candidates will have to secure at least 50% marks, while SC/ST/OBC/PwD and female candidates will have to secure a minimum of 45% marks in 12^th or equivalent examination

The application form for CG PAT 2022 can be filled only through online mode, while the application fee can be submitted online and offline ways. Following are the steps for successful completion of online application submission

Fill Online Application Form

Go to the official website of the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board – www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in
Click on the tab ‘CG PAT 2022 Application Form’
The candidate will be asked if he/she is a citizen of India and if he/she is a domicile of Chhattisgarh or not.
Then they have to select one of the groups – Maths Group (PCM), Biology Group (PCB) and Agriculture Group (AG₁, AG₂, AG₃)
Applicants will then be directed to the Online Application Form
Fill up personal, academic, correspondence and exam center details
They will also be required to fill the following information – religion, preference of examination centers, identification marks, height, weight

Must keep a scanned copy of recent passport size photograph and signature ready before filling the application form

Payment of Application Fee

Candidate has the option of either making the payment through online mode or taking a printout of SBI Challan and making application fee payment at any of the SBI branches
If candidates opt to make payment through online mode, it can be done through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking
Payment through offline mode, will involve taking print out of SBI Challan available at the website
Candidate will have to fill up Challan and pay the application fee at any of the SBI branches

CG PAT 2022 Admit card is of extreme significance to candidates appearing for entrance test. No candidate is permitted entry into examination center without in possession of admit card. CG PAT 2022 consists of 200 MCQs
There are 3 sections in the question paper, depending upon the group selected by the candidate
For Mathematics and Biology Groups, questions are asked from PCM and PCB respectively
The candidate will have to answer 60 questions each from Physics and Chemistry, while 80 questions will be asked from Mathematics/Biology
For the Agriculture group, questions will be asked from - Elements of Science Mathematics Useful for Agriculture, Crop Production and Horticulture, and Elements of Animal Husbandry and Poultry Farming

CG PAT 2022 Counselling

All successful candidates, whose names appear on the merit list, will have to register for CG PAT 2022 Counselling at the official Board website.

The candidate will have to register for counseling procedure on the official website of the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board
They will have to enter all the details asked for in the form
Option to select preferred courses and colleges in which he/she seeks admission will be given to them.
They will have to pay the required counseling fee and it will not be refundable in case of non-admission.
Counseling will be conducted in 1-3 rounds, depending upon the availability of seats in both the courses
