DNB PDCET 2022 Counselling will commence from September 30, 2022. NBE has declared the schedule for Counselling. Candidates will be able to register for Round 1 of DNB PDCET 2022 Counselling on nbe.edu.in. The last date for Choice Filling is October 5, 2022. 

DNB PDCET Result was declared by The National Board of Examination (NBE) on August 25, 2022. DNB PDCET Result has been declared for 14 specialities. DNB PDCET Result comprises of Roll Number, marks obtained and merit position of the candidate. 

DNB PDCET was held on July 24, 2022 There are no minimum qualifying criteria in DNB PDCET. Instead, a merit list is generated separately for each specialty in the order of ranking in the exam. 

What is DNB PDCET? DNB PDCET is a national-level entrance examination taken every year to offer the various DNB Post diploma courses in government/private institutions /colleges/ universities all over India. It is conducted by The National Board of Examination (NBE) for 14 broad specialties.

DNB PDCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to appear for DNB PDCET exam must meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority. The eligibility criteria of DNB PDCET 2022 must be met to apply which otherwise might result in the cancellation of the admission form. Refer to the beneath-mentioned DNB PDCET eligibility criteria before applying.

  • Candidates applying for the exam must have cleared the final exam for a postgraduate diploma from a recognized Indian university.
  • Candidates must have a proof of having passed/ passing the postgraduate diploma final examination on or before February 28, 2022.
  • Candidates must register with the Medical Council of India or the respective state medical council.
  • Candidates who have qualified PG Diploma exit exam or whose results will be declared after February 28, 2022, cannot apply for DNB PDCET 2022.
  • Candidates doing an MD/MS/DNB course are not allowed to give the DNB-PDCET 2022 exam.

DNB PDCET Application Form 2022

Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for the DNB PDCET 2022  exam, six different steps need to be fulfilled while applying. An application fee worth INR 5,000 needs to be paid accurately while applying as not filling the form by instructions will not be considered and in such case, candidates’ application form will be cancelled. Make sure that MBBS and postgraduate diploma qualification is recognized as per provisions laid down by the Indian Medical Council Act.

  • Step 6 Take a printout of the duly filled application form and keep it aside for future use.

DNB PDCET 2022 - Correction window facility

DNB PDCET 2022 correction window allows candidates allowing them to change any information that is filled incorrectly while applying. Some of the pieces of information that can’t be changed include personal details, educational qualifications, etc. and no request regarding its change will be considered later. Some of the fields that can’t be edited in the DNB PDCET 2022 application form include:

DNB PDCET Admit Card 2022

DNB PDCET 2022 admit card will be issued for the registered candidates only, and can be downloaded from the official website using user ID and password. Information that is mentioned on DNB PDCET admit card include candidates’ name, roll number, time of reporting, exam duration, etc.

DNB PDCET Counselling

Candidates who have cleared the entrance test will be invited to take part in the DNB PDCET 2022 counselling. Eligible candidates can select and arrange their preference of college post submitting the prescribed DNB PDCET counselling fee worth INR 2500. There will be four rounds of DNB PDCET counselling 2022 that will be organized by NBE and all the rounds will be conducted online excluding the last one which will be taken in an offline mode. Candidates who failed to get a seat in the first, second, or third round of counselling can take part in the fourth round of DNB PDCET 2022 counselling.

The criteria laid down by NBE authorities are mentioned below:

  • There is no limit on the number of total preferences that a candidate can give for a given round of DNB PDCET counselling. However, candidates are suggested not to fill those choices in which they are interested.
  • In case, they don’t pay the course fee or not join the allotted seat, they will be disqualified from taking part in further rounds of DNB PDCET counselling 2022.
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved category are supposed to upload all the relevant certificates to claim their reservation.
  • The special category candidates can opt for the special category while applying for the DNB PDCET 2022 counselling. Make sure to produce the relevant documents supporting the claim.
  • Make sure that you lock the preferences within the mentioned time period for DNB PDCET admission, else it will be locked automatically.
  • The seats will be allocated based on merit scores and the web options given by the candidate during the process of DNB PDCET admission 2022.
  • Candidates who have been allotted a seat in a particular round must accept the same and pay a one-year course fee worth INR 8,000. Fees can be paid online only.
  • Candidates who have paid the one-year course fee will be considered eligible for up-gradation of the seat in further rounds.
  • Candidates must select the certificate and biometric verification centre while paying a one-year course fee.
