NEET PG 2023 Syllabus, Important Topics, and Reference Books

NEET PG 2023 Syllabus is divided into 3 major sections i.e. Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, & Clinical sciences. Further, these 3 sections are divided into various sub-sections like Anatomy, Pathology, Psychiatry, etc.

  • According to the updated NEET PG exam pattern, the paper will now have 200 MCQ questions instead of 300. The time duration, medium of paper, etc are same as of the previous year. Read the article to know more about NEET PG section wise syllabus, reference books, etc.
  • NEET PG syllabus comprises subject areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by MCI. NBE does not prescribe the syllabus of NEET PG word by word, candidates can thus refer to the syllabus prescribed by MCI.

NEET PG 2023 Syllabus 

The syllabus consists of subjects that are available under graduation for MBBS and BDS students. The questions will be mostly asked from pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects. A summary of the syllabus of all the subjects is given below:

Ans: NEET PG Syllabus is divided into following sections:

Ques: What will be the weighatge os sections in NEET PG Syllabus?

Ans: From this year the total number of questions in NEET PG have been reduced to 200 from 300 which in return has also reduced the total marks for which the paper is conducted to 800. However, based on last year's data the weightage of following is high:

  • Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics & Anesthesia
  • Medicine Dermatology and Venereology
  • Social and Preventive Medicine etc.

Ans: The major topics are:
