PUCAT 2022 Exam Pattern, Syllabus

PUCAT (Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test) is a university-level exam conducted by Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University for admitting aspirants into various PG programs. PUCAT 2022 will be conducted in the 2nd week of June, 2022 (tentatively) in offline mode.

PUCAT 2022 Exam Pattern

PUCAT 2022 question paper will have multiple choice questions. There are total 250 questions distributed in three sections.

The first section deals with logical reasoning questions, the second section covers data interpretation questions and finally the third section focuses on English language.

  • Total marks a candidate can score in PUCAT 2022 is 250.
  • The final section that is English language covers 50 marks.
  • For each correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 mark each.
  • There is no negative marking scheme in PUCAT 2022.
  • Time allotted for the entrance exam is 3 hours.

PUCAT 2022 Marking Scheme

PUCAT 2022 is 250 marks entrance test. 250 marks are distributed in three sections. Firstly, logical reasoning section covers 100 marks; data interpretation section also covers another 100 marks.

The final section that is English language covers 50 marks. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 mark each. There is no negative marking scheme in PUCAT 2022.

PUCAT 2022 Exam Day Instructions

Aspiring candidates who are seeking admission in Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University must apply for Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test.

  • The last date to apply for PUCAT 2022 is yet to be announced.
  • Post declaration of result on June 2022, the counselling session begins by July 2022.
  • PUCAT 2022 application form costs 1000 INR for general candidates and 750 INR for reserved category candidates.
  • PUCAT 2022 will be conducted from 11am to 2pm.
  • Candidates must note that post declaration of UPSEE 2022 exam, the seats vacant will then be filled through PUCAT 2022.
  • Once the merit list is declared, counselling session will help candidates through the admission procedure.
  • Each discipline has number of vacant seats mentioned, as per which admission will happen depending upon the individual score and merit list.
  • Candidates need to carry all original documents, score card, admit card etc. on the day of counseling.
