Studying in prestigious University in Ireland

The National University of Ireland Galway is one of the most prestigious universities in Ireland and is ranked #230 in the world. The MS course provided is highly respected and the course structure is aligned with the required needs of the market. One more reason to join this university is its location in Galway where living expenses are comparatively less than in Dublin and the university tuition fees are low.

Course Curriculum :

The course structure is well organized. If you have prior experience in the field of programming, analytics, and databases then the course would be easy. The curriculum is drafted for keeping in mind for beginners.

Exams :

To get admission only IELTS is required with a minimum score of 6.5 or an equivalent and TOEFL scores of 85. In case an individual does not have an IELTS or TOEFL score, the person can still apply and get conditional admission. Must have a well-drafted SOP, 2 LOR, and a CV.

Placement :

In Ireland getting a job depends upon the individual. Skills and presentation are much more important for a job. If you have experience then you will definitely get a call from the company but for a fresher, it's a bit tough. Placement doesn't depend on college.

Internship :

Since it's a 1-year course and students are much busier with assignments and classes. Working as an intern would be hectic. But still internships are available. I was working as an intern at chipmunk technologies. My profile is Business analytics/programmer.

Events :

The campus has everything which a student needs. Cafe, library, grounds, clubs, societies, restaurants, wifi. The campus is very specific.

Fees :

17300 is the program fee.

Scholarship :

No, I didn't receive any scholarship.

Faculty :

In Ireland, professors are good and also very helpful. The most important thing is feedback which professors give after every assignment submission. One to One feedback is very impactful. It helps in personal growth.

Hostel :

Galway is slightly cheaper than Dublin. You can find a single room for 400 euros per month. All the facilities will be available like an oven, microwave, induction, and heater. Apart from this if you are cooking then you need close to 70-80 Euro per month.
