My time in UL!

It ranks number one for international student experience in Ireland and also ranks first for campus life. It is in a safe city with lots of international crowd. The campus is very safe and has all things that you need. The course I wanted was offered in this university with an educational trip to Vietnam (different for every batch) and the overall cost was very affordable.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum was very good and relevant to the market.

Exams :

Only IELTS was compulsory and I scored 7 so got selected. I had 70%+ in my UG so there was no interview and I was awarded 25% scholarship to because of my UG marks

Placement :

This was not that great for me as I had no prior work experience, students received offers but it is hard. Most had engineering background in UG could find a job.

Internship :

No

Fees :

Around 11,000 euros

Scholarship :

I got Kemmy Business School International Scholarship which is 25% deduction on overall tuition fees. It was on the basis of your UG marks, and it should be minimum 70%

Faculty :

There were around 25 students per faculty member and in electives it is as low as 5-10 students. Faculty is very international and very understanding so you can easily ask your doubts to them. John mccharthy, our batch mentor was very helpful throughout the course and even after completion.

Campus Life :

UL is famous because of their clubs and societies too, it was around 100 clubs and societies and you can have 1 for every activity that you can thing of such as table tennis, international society, swimming, tea appreciation society, feminism, lgbtq, environmental, drama, film, kayaking, and many more! There are 2 pubs on campus so every night there was something fun happening. There is an amazing big gym and a sports center with all sports activities you can think of. Wifi is available everywhere and the campus has one of the biggest and best library in Ireland.

Hostel :

I lived on campus in Thomond Village and share apartment with 3 other girls, but my room was private and had an attached private bathroom. It was amazing and had everything I needed. The cost was around 700 euros per month and it included all the bills such as electricity, gas etc. There was always hot water available, and had all necessary things such as refrigerator, microwave, hotplate to cook, smart TV, balcony with an amazing view etc.
