My Abroad Experience

I have chosen this university because this is one of the top universities of Ireland with so much facilities and I have gone through various researches as well so I found this university to be good for me.

Course Curriculum :

There is a lot of study pressure as the course is intensive. The course is more practical in nature.

Exams :

For admission in this university, there was a simple process like writing down a SoP which should be very unique and two LoRs from my university with less than 2 years of experienced and for more than 2 years we need to have one from university and other from the company. After that the basic documents such as Passports , academic reports etc. are required. I would recommend to go for LELETS or PTE , In PTE they require around 63 and in IELTS above 6.5.

Placement :

From third semester, we search for jobs, and get it since there are a lot of opportunities after software engineering. There is a career centre, preparation for interview but direct companies don't visit, we would get a lot of calls regarding job opportunities after applying. They keep us updating regarding number of companies having different job roles. The package varies depending on experience, and university.

Internship :

They provide us internships but I didn't do any internships because it is one year course which is very short.

Fees :

When I entered it was around 40,500 as tuition but due to my good grades I got some scholarship which I had to pay around 8 lakhs 20 thousand.

Faculty :

For master students, we don't attend every day classes we had around 10 hours of class, the course is more based on practicality rather than theoretical classes. The faculties are very good and they help us a lot. Most of the subject are research based.

Campus Life :

The study life and campus life were good with a very new experience. There are very good and peaceful library facilities available here. For co-curricular activities the university offers the biggest cub of Ireland, the biggest sports facilities, the biggest swimming club, etc. there are huge facilities available for us.

Hostel :

I live in a student corridor room. I didn?t have to find a room because KTH helped me find one. During my study of 3 years, I just lived there. It was really great. My room was furnished. I got my bed, one study table and a wardrobe. I lived with 13 other international students. We had our own bathroom but, the kitchen was for everyone. The kitchen is a really nice place because it is the place where I can meet other international students and we cooked together. In the corridor, I had friends from India, China, Spain, Germany and South Africa.
