How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practices of the industry?

"We have included best programs and training in it to make our students future-ready"

We follow the curriculum designed by the Pharmacy Council of India and being a private University, we have the liberty to add new content based on the current Industry and Hospital needs. Hence we use innovative experiments while drafting and updating our curriculum and there are experts from industries in our Board of Studies who help us to accomplish this goal. As a result, our curriculum is a blend of both academic theory and best industry practices. We provide hands-on experience and employability skills, such as troubleshooting, searching and interpreting literature, laboratory safety, communication, teamwork and ethics to make sure our students are well equipped to become industry managers and leaders.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

"To offer an ambiance of positivity and personal growth to students"

I am responsible for providing an environment that supports the intellectual, social and personal development of students. Apart from this, delivering programs of study in accordance with the descriptions of the University curriculum is what I need to do on a regular basis.

What do you think should be the College's top priority over the next 10 years?

"We should work towards enhancing our college environment, programs and bond with industry partners"

We should promote a rich and diverse classroom and University culture in the form of an excellent curriculum, and latest technologies and increase student success rates across all disciplines while maintaining academic rigor and quality educational outcomes. All this will help us to instill a passion for lifetime learning in students and also fulfills industry expectations. We should also improve educational attainment levels by ensuring students can easily pursue higher education in their respective areas. Lastly, our goal should be to build partnerships and increase coordination with Pharmaceutical Industries to improve college readiness.

What are some of the biggest challenges this Covid Pandemic has created for your institute?

"Ensuring students placements in good companies was definitely a hurdle for us"

At that moment, the coronavirus pandemic itself was the biggest challenge. And due to this, we were bound to conduct our classes digitally and like many other institutions, the transition from the classroom to online learning has been both tough as well as interesting for us. The biggest issue which we faced due to Covid was the placement of students as the calendar of events was mostly affected, but looking at our old trend we worked hard to make our students future ready.
