What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Commitment and passion towards the education field”

Transformation can be achieved by educating someone. To make someone aware of anything throws light and enlightens the life of that individual. This change can be made by using education only. No one else can do this except education. Providing knowledge to the students and making them leaders of today’s generation is the power of education.

Being the Principal of LCP, what is your philosophy of leadership?

“Proper involvement with teamwork”

Understanding the problem and plan to solve the problems should be your first priority as a leader. The planned, time-bound efforts will always help you to achieve your goals. Team efforts always take you to win. At the same time, hard work is important along with smart work. We should have a role model in our life to which we look forward to and become successful people in life.

How does the curriculum of LCP ensure the best practice of industry?

“Regular interactions and alignment with industry practices”

Industry uses all modern practices. So to make our students aware of these, we have established an industry-institute interaction cell. This cell gives students an opportunity to interact with industry personnel. We are in contact with many industries for the practices of the students and to make them ready for the upcoming needs of the world. We are practicing students as well as teachers to have industrial experience, which helps them to improve their skills.

What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Advancing towards a practical learning environment”

Basically practical approach towards concept is essential. So to establish this type of learning environment, the institute is planning to start a dedicated study and research centre and IT centre. Institute is also planning to start a higher study centre and community extension centre. We are developing our infrastructure at the same time making our digital presence. In the coming years, the college will have one of the best research centres for students as well as teachers. We are looking for tie-ups with foreign universities as well, and planning to make an international study center, so that students get the opportunity to interact with international people. In the Covid pandemic, we have seen the need to upgrade the healthcare system. We, as an institute, want to establish ourselves as a provider of such pharmacists who will work for society.

How do you bring in a practical approach towards subjects?

“Multifold activities and events to upgrade knowledge practically”

Practical understanding of any concept is essential. So to understand, to remember and to use the knowledge, experimentations, practical projects, dissertations and workshops are inculcated in the curriculum. Dummy or mock trials, internships, assistantships, training industry visits are organized as well. At any college level, the college authorities can work in this regard. We give some credits or grades to make it more important.

What can an inbound student gain from studying here in your college?

“Proficient knowledge and disciplined atmosphere”

As pharmacy is an indistinguishable part of the healthcare system, every pharmacist has to perform his/her role to relieve the discomfort of patients. Knowledge and Education are the prime priority of our institute. People can see experienced faculties in our campus who are capable of doing hard as well as smart work. Affinity towards work, imitativeness, commitment, dedication and teamwork are our strengths. Discipline is the most important part of any institute. We and our students are self-disciplined always.
