Mr. DC Persai has served as a Principal in several SAIL Schools and then later joined the Bharti group of institutions. In his illustrious career, Mr. DC Persai has received several accolades and awards, which include the Managing Director awards for best Principal.

He won a master’s degree in physics from Robertson college Jabalpur, MA in Sociology from Ravi Shankar university, and B.Ed. from Bhopal. He has taken several initiatives in the field of education particularly for the welfare of students.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“The motivation of working with the next generation of Country is an important Factor”

While there are a lot of things in education that attracts me, the most fulfilling thing for me is the fact that I get the opportunity to work with the next generation of the country; which helps me to not only learn new things but also gives me immense pleasure when I see the impact it's making on the society.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Developing leadership skills is a lifetime project”

I keep one thing in my mind that the most important thing for us is to improve the quality of education. Keeping this goal in mind. I believe in taking everyone along to maintain a safe and receptive learning environment for everyone. One of the most important things for me is not only to impart knowledge but to also be a good listener. I believe in taking feedback and having discussions before major discussions.

How do you strategize about the key plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“Focusing of right scheduling, keeping good records and reporting timely”

I said earlier, the most important thing to keep in mind in whatever we do is to check 'How it's impacting the education we provide'.Educational administration includes functions like planning, organizing, financing, directing, supervising, inspecting, and evaluation. We have different teams to look into these functions separately which gives them the bandwidth to concentrate on their areas of expertise.

I am part of most of these teams and our areas of focus remains

- Handle scheduling,

- record-keeping and reporting

- Ensure the school complies with relevant laws and regulations

- Communicate with parents, regulatory bodies, and the public whenever necessary

How does the curriculum of your College ensure the best practice of industry?

“Providing Students with regular industrial visits and advanced labs”

We are AICTE approved and follow all the university directives and syllabus in each area we are in.Our curriculum includes the following:

- Outcome-based education through design-based experiments/ labs

- Conducting workshops

- Regular training and placement program

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?

“Providing students with the best educational facilities”

The main goal is to make the education system better. Keeping this in mind I work closely with the university to wear different hats. Some of my roles and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Leading the development of the Institute in line with the University's plans and syllabus
  • Support for the professional development of all staff in the College: I feel this is one of the most important things; a demotivated staff can’t make the learning experience good.
  • Promoting best practices in the delivery of several courses; so that a process is created to make the learning streamlined.
  • Encouraging the development of strategic initiatives in teaching and learning and widening. Participation.
  • Promoting the development of internal structures within the College that allows for the evolution and development of the College and its various academic disciplines;

What do you see as Bharti Group of Colleges' greatest strengths?

“Experienced and Hardworking facilities are the greatest strength”

Our faculties work day and night to make things better for the students. Our faculties are our biggest strengths, no matter how many rules and processes we created, it's the faculty who has to deliver things on the ground and they have been delivering it from the start.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Believe in yourself and don’t lose hope”

I see most students get disheartened if they don’t get what they want. But I would want them to understand that learning never goes in vain. Students should keep their eye on the changing demands of Industry and adjust themselves according to them.
