Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) is one of the first private engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated in the city of Bhopal, the state’s capital.

In 1993, Lakshmi Narain College of Technology was jointly sponsored by Government of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh to attract bright students to the institute which now we can say was successful. Kalchuri Educational Trust, a well-known organization in its time founded LNCT with the vision. The institute is effectively meeting the objective of producing skilled manpower of the highest quality that is able to cope up with challenges of ever progressing industrial needs of the country.

Recognition & Affiliation:

The college is recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, the technical university of the state Madhya Pradesh for engineering courses. The college is not only for the engineering people; it also offers management and pharmacy courses and is affiliated to Barkatullah University for the same reason. Just to give some lofty information, it is officially approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

It is excelling in its field and competition. No, that is not some made-up praise; LNCT has been re-accredited by TCS to B Level and is the first self-financed Engineering College of the state to be re-accredited by TCS at B Level. This shows that the college is improving and doing well in engineering.

Achievements:

There are many major achievements of the college which can serve the purpose of proofs of its excellence but we don’t need any. Over time, the institute has emerged as one of the best in the state. LNCT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. LNCT has a MOU with Oracle under Workforce Development Program, already. It has also signed a MOU with Tata Consultancy Services. Such Memorandum signed with the leading companies helps the students in knowing the present scene in the industry and helps them in exchanging knowledge.

Apart from such covenants, LNCT has been the center for post-placement training of nominated undergraduates by ETA Engg. Pvt. Ltd where scholars had been given in-depth training on MEP, a unique and arduous program for the Industry. If you are one of those guys who frequently search the internet for a college ranking, let me make your life a little easier.

Dataquest in its survey ranked LNCT 16th among private engineering colleges in India. There are much more websites which have placed it among the best. It was ranked in the top 10 private engineering colleges in the country in terms of ROI. Week Magazine found out it to be the 22nd best engineering colleges across the country. In 2017 also, LNCT was ranked 1 in terms of campus placements with a whopping 1300 offers by leading MNCs and core companies with 801 Record Placement on Day One.

Placement:

What comes after rankings? Placements. Yes, it matters. In Western region, Cognizant has given highest the offer in the college this year. They have hosted first campus placement sessions in the state, of TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TVS, Syntel, L&T Infotech, Mphasis, Capgemini, Accenture, Amdocs, Polaris, Global Logic, Mu Sigma, Aricent, Microsoft, Amazon, Orange Business Services and many more among self-financed institutes of M.P.

In addition corporates like Tech Mahindra, CSC, Sapient, US Technology, Syntel, Sears Holdings, Impetus, Persistent and many more regularly visit us for campus placements. This shows the magnetism LNCT has built over the years. If you want some honest opinion, students have reviewed the college collegedunia and they are mostly positive. “College contacts the companies and helps the students in getting a good job. The placements are respectable and most of us get a decent package.” One says.

Uniqueness:

There are features that make LNCT stand out and unique. They always give more than 90% joining ratio and the students usually serve a minimum of three years with an organization. A distinctive feature of the college is that it is ranked among Top 10 Private Engg. Colleges in country by Outlook in terms of ROI which keeps our students motivated to join the corporates and serve minimum 5 years in the company. LNCT is ahead of other institutes in terms of Industry Readiness. They are running certification programs under Oracle University where students are certified in OCA Java SE7.

In addition, they have a rigorous online and classroom-based training for students to be Industry ready. There is a Microsoft Tie-up. Non-IT students get IT training to help them out. They also focus on other things like Soft skill training. Placements are much better than the other colleges in the city. Maximum placements are from the college only. LNCT calls a lot of companies, not only IT companies but also core companies for the mechanical and civil which rarely happens in other colleges. Companies like Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, IBM are the common giants which head to LNCT to appoint engineers. Very good jobs opportunities offered in the sector of IT, almost all CS and IT branch students get placed as well as the ones from core branches.

All this means only one thing that you are a wise human if you are considering LNCT as your choice.
