Which is best for an MBA, IIT Madras or LIBA?

Having friends studying in both the institutes, I can say that IIT Madras is the better one for sure. This choice is not based on the placement data on the website. It is because of the exposure it provides, who’d worth is known only to an IIT student.

• You will have the opportunity to connect with the creators of many tech start-ups at IIT Madras' incubation cell, also known as IITM Research Park.
• You can also connect with industry stalwarts and policymakers, through a variety of interactive sessions held at department and institute levels.
• To name a few, Arun Jaitley, Chidambaram, Kiran Bedi, and Flipkart's Bansals.
• You can collaborate with the brightest minds of our age.
• World-class faculty, including several world-class scholars you get to meet.
• You can be a member of an ecosystem that promotes extracurricular and co-curricular activities to their full potential.
• A higher faculty-to-student ratio is present.

IIT Madras has a good educational environment and a diverse crowd. It broadens your horizons in a variety of ways. It inspires the students to be more motivated in life.
The only disadvantage is the quarter system. In my perspective, a semester or trimester would have been preferable.
