Yes, of course you can. Your prowess in academics will definitely give you an upper hand in IMT Ghaziabad.

This does not mean that your skills will be judged on what you have achieved no matter how remarkable it was. It is in the past.
How you have grown and evolved over the years takes centre stage in the interviews of IMT Ghaziabad among other things.
If you have faced setbacks, how you have pulled yourself back to get over that setback matters more than the good results you have made in the past.
The efforts you have made to develop yourself come into account if you make it to the interviews.
They do not lay the entire stress on academics.
Having a good profile not restricted to academics matters more to them.
