When will the PTU B.Tech counselling start on the basis of the JEE Main rank?
PTU B.Tech counseling 2022 (on the basis of JEE Main ranks) will tentatively start from the second week of September. The counseling will be done in two rounds. The first round will start around the second week of September. Results of this round should be declared by the third week.
2nd round of counseling will start in the 4th week of September (tentatively). The seat allocation for this round will be done around the first week of October.

The 2021 counseling session was open until 26th August. However, the counseling is generated with a dedicated centralized online counseling session. In fact, the administration often offers direct admissions.

- To participate in the counseling session, you have to pay a counseling fee of INR 2,000 for every course you select.
- The date of counseling was until 26th August 2021. The choice filling date shall be provided soon after that.
- You will be required to fill in your basic details, qualifying marks in the respective registration form.
- Changes are not generally permitted, following the submission.
- The admission is commonly based on inter-se-merit for each course, alongside JEE Main, NATA, CMAT, GATE score, and others as per the requirement mandated for the course.
