What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at Asutosh College?

My brother graduated from Asutosh College. Here are his insights.

• You will get enough study leaves. Utilize them well. That way you will be able to enjoy your college life and also score decent marks in examinations.
• The faculties are quite knowledgeable. You can reach out to them regarding any doubts. 
• It is located at the heart of bustling southern Kolkata. You can get to the college via all sorts of public transport.
• Contrary to the general misconception, there are regular classes. Make sure that you attend all your honors classes, they are very important.
• The laboratories are well-equipped with good facilities. 
• You will have access to three libraries, i.e. main library, departmental libraries, and the reading library in the annex building. 
• Be prepared to stand in long queues, whether you are waiting for the examination forms or mark sheets.
